How local data, service-side data, and deletion requests are handled.

This document explains how to request deletion or review of data related to Cosmo VPN.

Local device data

Some settings and cached information may be stored locally on your device, such as interface preferences, selected language, chosen routes, custom configuration entries, and local VPN preferences.

You can generally remove local app data by:

  • uninstalling the app; or
  • clearing app storage from your device settings.

Service-side data

Operational service data may include:

  • connection and lease identifiers;
  • route and node selection data;
  • anti-abuse or security logs;
  • support messages you send to us;
  • limited ad event records when ad-supported features are enabled.

You may request deletion of service-side data that can reasonably be linked to your use of the service by contacting:

Limits

We may retain information where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute handling, or enforcement of our terms.

Response process

We aim to review valid requests in a reasonable time and may ask for additional information if needed to verify or narrow the request.
